Daniel Burka

Daniel Burka is the Director of Product and Design at the not-for-profit "Resolve to Save Lives", which focuses on solving complex global health problems in simple ways. He works with the Simple (an open source project) to enable hundreds of hospitals (across India, Bangladesh and Ethiopia) to manage over 200,000 patients with hypertension.

Earlier, Daniel spent five years as a Design Partner at Google Ventures, where he worked with companies such as Flatiron Health, Zipline, Farmers Business Network, Blue Bottle Coffee, etc. Before that, Daniel led design at Slack (when it was Glitch) and as a Creative Director at Digg, which pioneered online news sharing and consumption.
